Like our USSC pillow set, the specifications come from the February 1862 publication of the Cincinnati, OH branch of the USSC. This one differs from some of the more common styles of USSC sacking that are based of post-war specifications (which were drawn from wartime experiences and changes). Our sacking is made from blue line mattress ticking and is closed by 4 sets of cotton ties. These sacks are also larger than many other patterns out there, measuring about 43in wide x 7 ft long. This will make for a much more comfortable bed in your tent or on your cot!
