Tired of the same-old issue sack coat? Want something that's a little more stylish? Want a good-quality coat to wear as an officer in the summer? Why not do what the original soldiers did and purchase an commercial military sack coat! Our Commercial Sack Coat is made from the same high-quality wool flannel as our other blouses and is lined with a variety of cotton fabrics in the body, and cotton muslin in the sleeves. These coats are mostly machine sewn, but feature tailored keyhole buttonholes and offer a fair amount of customization. If you have a specific fabric in mind for the lining, let us known and we'll see if it's something we can find (additional fees may apply for some fabrics). You can also choose between inset, faced pockets and external patch pockets (see photos).

To ensure a proper fit, we request that you get accurate measurements using a tape measure or the strip of cloth and yardstick method detail on the FAQ page. Without an accurate measurement, we cannot ensure that your garment will fit they way it is intended to.
 
If you are taller than 5'9", please let us know that you will need a longer length jacket.
 
For sizes larger than 48, there is an additional $20 added to the item, and please contact us for a custom invoice for this item.
