The last of the Richmond Depot jackets to be produced, the Type III eliminated the shoulder straps and belt loops of the Type II style of jacket. Much like its predecessor, the Type III was made from both domestic jean cloth and imported kersey.

These jackets can be made mostly machine sewn or hand topstitched for an additional $45.

Our reproduction can be made in tan or gray jean, or blue-gray English Army Cloth (EAC), and features a cotton osnaburg lining and hand topstitching, as well as one interior pocket.

Note:

To ensure a proper fit, we request that you get accurate measurements using a tape measure or the strip of cloth and yardstick method detail on the FAQ page. Without an accurate measurement, we cannot ensure that your garment will fit they way it is intended to.

If you are taller than 5'9", please let us know that you will need a longer length jacket.

For sizes larger than 48, there is an additional $20 added to the item.
