CS issue haversack based on one identified to a soldier from the 6th Virginia Infantry. This haversack is made from sturdy cotton duck cloth, and all the visible stitching on the bad is done by hand. The original has an external pocket that appears to be added after the original manufacture of the haversack. You can have this pocket added to your haversack as an option for $16. This is a good, generic CS haversack with generous dimensions to get your rations and mess gear inside (about 13”w by 12” deep).
